In 2002, A to Z Wine works was started by Oregon wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher, Bill Hatcher, Sam Tannahill and Cheryl Francis. The inaugural blend, Pinot Noir, was honored by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20 and they never slowed. The group committed to offering the highest quality wines for the greatest sustainable value as well as building a company that combined commerce with conscience. In 2006 The winery welcomed another Oregon wine veteran, Michael Davies and Gregg Popovich, Coach of the NBA San Antonio Spurs, to buy Rex Hill Winery that was established in 1982.
